Tiger Moth G-ASKP Fast Flyby – High Resolution Digital Image

The De Havilland DH82a Tiger Moth is one of the most distinctive vintage biplanes still flying today.  Popular for its eye-catching aesthetics, inimitable grace and nostalgia, this British primary trainer has completed thousands of years of service since it was built in 1935.

In this 2017 image the aircraft performs a very fast, very low pass for a National Geographic TV crew as they captured former astronaut and ISS commander, Chris Hadfield re-visiting his memories of flying this beautiful aircraft from the rear seat.
